(John1:12; Luke 10:17-21;Galatians4:4-7; Ephesians 2:1-9; Romans 8:1-4; 1john2:24-25; 5:4-5)
The moment a sinner repents and recieves Christ Jesus as his personal Lord and saviour, God confirms his sonship through his word (1john 1:9) and his Spirit (Romans 8:16). He is delivered from the power of darkness, translated into the kingdom of his dear son (Colossians 1:13) and made fruitful in every good work.. 1colossians 1:10-11).
The power of sonship guarantees God’s power to live a life of victory and consistent Christian life. It enables faith to rise up from within to serve the Lord without fear in the midst of this crooked and perverse generation. Jesus Christ was declared by angels as the son of God (Luke 1:31-35) in fufilment of the prophesy of Isaiah in (Isaiah9:6-7) and confirmed by God in Mathew 3:16-17).
